Odd Dareheart spent 10 years trapped inside his own body until he began to lose consciousness and himself day after day, until a game developing company approached his mother with a contract to test a new Virtual reality technology on him promising her that it would allow her son to at least live inside the game. His mother was desperate to know that he is still inside that body, desperate to see any kind of response from him after 10 years of trying to speak to him and get even a different heart beat from him. She signed the contract and a team of doctors including Odd's childhood friend, Dr Daniel Blitzer, operated on him connecting his nervous system to the computer through a special connections. After the surgery during the first test, Odd connected and appeared inside the game called The World, buy they couldn't locate him nor contact him inside the game. The World is controlled and managed entirely by A.I, unless they forcefully interfere with the artificial intelligence that manages the game and ruin years of hard work, they won't be able to locate Odd with the normal means.
